...to pick up change lying in the street - I remember my dad saying that when we were little. I read an article on MSN sometime after the new year - it was describing ways people have saved money, yada, yada, yada - the part that caught my attention was when a person said they had "earned" around $30 just by picking up change people had left/lost in the street.
SO...I thought I should pick up change I find in the street to see how much I can "earn" in a year. I told Jeff about it and he said, "You'll probably have enough to buy me a gumball at the end of the year." Negative Nance!
I've already "earned" 42 cents, take that! more than enough for a gumball, maybe by the end of the year I'll be able to buy him something off the dollar menu at McDonalds ;)

very cool christa!!! chris and i save the change we get and we've exchanged it for 80+ bucks at CoinStar... you'll save enough to buy the place you're staying at a new spatulla.. lol
very cool. you'll have to prove jeff wrong- he's going to get a whole bag of gumballs with all the change you collect!
