...The Air Traffic Controller!!! Jeff officially passed his last PV this morning - he text me the good news a little before 10 am! I'm so proud of him :) I'm in serious pack/laundry mode right now but I wanted to make sure I post before we leave here.
His new "office" :)
We will hopefully be leaving here EARLY tomorrow morning. I wanted to make it to Utah the first day of driving to see Heather, Jon, and Rowan but I don't know that is actually possible :( BUT hopefully we will be in Idaho Sunday night! We can't wait to see everyone and thank you to all of you who were thinking of us while we were here :)
Yesterday I was lucky to have lunch with 2 of the friends I have made while here in OKC - Anne Marie and Erin. We went to a restaurant in Bricktown, which is in downtown OKC, call Zios. It was ok but it was SO nice to have a girls day! After that Anne Marie gave us a mini tour of some different spots in OKC.
This is on Lake Hefner (not named after Hugh Hefner...that I know of). There is a nice walking/biking trail that goes around the lake. Jeff and I went to dinner with my cousin Jessica and her boyfriend Bret to a restaurant on Lake Hefner.
It was a fun adventure here in Oklahoma, crazy weather, great people, and a new job - for Jeff at least ;) I am so excited for our Oregon adventure!
