Breaking Out!

On Sunday we (and by we, I mean Jeff) finally chiseled away the ice that had accumulated on the outside of the truck from the storm on thursday and friday.  It was SO thick.  Luckily for Jeff one side got it worst than the other so he was able to open the passenger side door to get in to start the truck.  Our ice scrapper was stuck in our truck-trunk under a bunch of ice so we weren't able to get that out so we had to improvise and use a spatula to flop off the ice :)  Good idea, huh?  It worked REALLY well too!

I stand and watch :)  Jeff lifts off a giant piece of ice - spatula in hand!

The back, driver's side-ice encased-tire...with icicles.

The
complex that we live in has a nice gym within walking distance.  I've been able to meet a few of the people who work at the gym and one of the trainers, Dawson, was putting on a "bootcamp" for this month.  I hadn't met any other wives while I've been here this last month and a half but yesterday I finally did!  It was funny too because she and her husband live right across the hall from us.  So we had a girls day together and went to Target and a few other places.  Too bad we leave friday after I finally meet someone!

Erin helping our neighbors in the parking lot by removing giant pieces of ice from their car.

I bought some new slippers!

Speaking of Friday...Jeff finally found out how the training is going to be adjusted because of the classes he missed because of the storm.  Instead of his last day being thursday and leaving friday morning, his last day now will be friday and we'll leave saturday morning.  We can't wait to be home...and I think Jeff is more than ready to leave OKC :)

that is just crazy - I have never seen anything like that. You and Erin will have to exchange email addresses so you can keep in touch. Well, you two are welcome to stop in Utah again if you want - but I understand if you just want to get home!
