Ice, Ice, Baby

It feels like we'll never leave OKC :(  Jeff's training was cancelled again for today.  So if they do make him make-up the 2 days he's missed for yesterday and today we won't be leaving here till February 9th.  All day yesterday all that came down was sleet and freezing rain.  We still have power thankfully.  Whenever I've been outside I can hear the trees crackle when the wind blows because of all the ice on them.  Right now it's snowing.  The weather here is OUTRAGEOUS! lol
Here are a few pictures of the ice that has accumulated on the trees outside of our apartment this morning at about 10 am.  It's the thickest I've ever seen (this is my first ice storm mind you lol)!

This is out side of our apartment this morning at about 10 am, we're
in a winter wonderland!

Jeff's truck at about 3:30 pm yesterday - it's a popsicle! It has about 1/4 inch of ice on it!

Jeff's classmate Chris holding a chunk of ice.  It was really long I just didn't capture that part!

Jeff and 2 of his classmates went out yesterday to grab a few movies just in case training was cancelled for today (good thing they did) while they were out they stopped at 2 different places.  After they were done at the second place his classmate tried to open the driver's side door and the handle ripped off!  Jeff said we aren't even trying to get into his truck...lol

Holy Molley! That is incredible!! I don't blame Jeff for not wanting to get into his truck! (at least till things thaw) Man, that sucks if you have to stay longer! I was counting on you being here next weekend! Keep me posted! And stay warm!
