Holy Sheetrock!

August 12, 2011: Jeff sent me these while I was in MN.
The whole house is wrapped up and they cut the arch for our garage door.

Furnace is in and all the electrical is done!

All the electrical work has been done and this is the beginning of some insulation.

After I flew home from MN Jeff and I drove over to the house and saw that the gas was set up for the stove and the hookup was done for the grill outside!  The bottom picture is a view of our house from a house being built 2 lots over.

August 16, 2011: some siding is up!

Insulation in the garage and our address :)

Insulation in our master bedroom and the siding on the back side of the house.

August 17, 2011: HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM :)
Dry wall is up in the garage.

Dry wall in the den.  They still have to trim around the windows.

What a mess! The kitchen :)  It was getting a little bit later when we went out this time so the lighting wasn't great.  I kept wanting to flip a switch in every room we walked into!

we have a coffered ceiling in our bedroom and you can finally see it now that the dry wall is up!  Jeff is standing in our closet.

The man room!  Smurf tube is in.

Standing in the kitchen looking into the living room, sliding glass door to the left.

More of the garage.

Left is our future master shower and right is where I'll be doing laundry :)
It's going up so fast!  Each time we are out there it's fun to see what is changing.  Last night when we went over we noticed a Direct TV van parked where we usually park.  As we were leaving there were a 2 guys walking out of the house 2 lots down that is going up the exact same time ours is and we said hello.  Turns out it was our future neighbor and his dad.  Jeff and I were laughing because we had just cancelled Comcast the day before and we want to do Direct TV in the house and he works for them.   Today we went to Home Depot and Lowes to look at blinds and plants.  While we were walking around  I couldn't believe the number of things we would walk by and I would think to myself, "We'll need that, and that, and that, and that!"
We can't wait to be in our house!
