Jeff and I miraculously had the same day(s) off together this week, I just finished working a long stretch and he is in the middle of switching schedules because of training. It also worked out perfect because the sun FINALLY came out after being rainy, hail-y, and cloudy for days on end! Here are a few pictures from our hike :) It was 2.3 miles...uphill. My legs are dead!

The other night we went out with some friends to Buffalo Wild Wings right by the airport and the planes were lining up right over the parking lot - this is a picture of the FedEx DC10 that comes in everyday to PDX...I guess it's a pretty big plane :)
Speaking of planes, this is a Russian Antonov 124 - one of the largest planes in the world. For some reason it landed at PDX so Jeff went and checked it out when is was getting ready to leave, I had to work :( Look how many wheels are on it!

Glad the sun came out for you guys! Looks like a great hike - minus the snake! I really hope some day we can come up that way and visit you guys!
Always fun to start getting outside and enjoying nature again after a long winter. It's real pretty there.
