...I'm still on a shoppers high :) I've been trying to learn the ins-and-outs of couponing and I think I'm getting better, yay! I'm no where near the expert that Traci and Becca are but I'm saving us some money just by trying.
This is the first time I used the Register rewards (which is awesome!) at Walgreens - my Walgreens is just a 1/4 mile away, I could walk but I was lazy and drove, it's in the same complex as Ben's office.
Sooooooooooooooo...I got a giant Crest mouthwash, 4 different Dayquil/Nyquil things, VapoRub, 2 Evaporated milk, Dawn, Windex, 2 Natural bathroom cleaners, Almay mascara with eyeliner, and a newspaper...for $26.42! That doesn't even include the $3 register reward that printed after my last transaction that I didn't expect. Not including the $3 RR I didn't use today I saved $34.04. Saving myself 56%. I think that was pretty good!
Here is what I did on our anniversary, Jeff got me bubble tea :) He had to work, boo!
On Thursday of this last week Jeff got to go on a man date with Ben and Tim (his cousin Tashina's husband) then we got to go to Ben and Becca's that same night to see Tashina and their youngest little girl Brinley (SO CUTE!), and Becca and the boys. It was alot of fun we had pizza and watched the NCAA tournament. As soon as we got home we crashed - it's been a long week!

Isn't couponing GREAT! I wish I could do it on my own but I'm so ignorant about how it works that I have to have Traci along for the ride!! lol So glad you have been able to have some fun with the family! Tell Ben & Becca Hi from me!
I think your coupon experience was a success! This is Ben's sister Tashina. I got on LaVerne's blog, and found you. It was great to spend some time with you guys. Too bad we don't live closer.
